Canons Sports Centre celebrated its 10th birthday today. The celebrations began with the Headmistress cutting the ‘birthday’ cake and continued throughout the afternoon. Amongst the guests were several governors and ONLs, including Lucy Wray (ONL), who currently plays for the Welsh National Lacrosse team.
The party was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and many of the parents commented on how delightful it was to see the girls appreciating the fabulous sports facilities at Canons. Mr and Mrs Harai returned to North London for the first time in 10 years and were both extremely complimentary and impressed by the additional buildings, in particular the PAC. They were also pleased to see that the girls at Canons still had a warm and enthusiastic attitude towards school life. Mr and Mrs Bitton commented on how lovely it was to admire Canons in full use and to catch a glimpse of the growth of the brilliant facilities at North London.
