On Tuesday 15th January, 20 girls in Yr 8 took part in a History collaboration day with the Robert Clack School in Dagenham.
The focus of the day was the bicentenary of the abolition of the slave trade. During the day the girls had the chance to take part in many exciting activities including editing a webpage and pod casting an interview. As well as learning about the slave trade and the people who fought for abolition, the girls had the chance to work with the pupils from Robert Clack School, in what was a very enjoyable day for all who took part.
Well done to Jessica Gee and Riana Thakrar who, together with two pupils from Robert Clack School, won the webpage editing competition!
