2007 Zambia visit...

Article: Mr D Fox (Geography Dept)

The first visit by North London to Flying Angels' School took place in July 2007. Ten students from Yr 13 travelled with two members of staff to Lusaka and worked hard over ten days.

The trip involved five days teaching at Flying Angels, two trips to the MacDonald's Farm & Orphanage and finally two days rest and relaxation in Livingstone at the end of the trip, which included a trip to the Victoria Falls.

The North Londoners involved were:

Elly Rueben, Maragarita Economedes, Kamal Dalal, Stephanie Broadhurst, Emma Pascall, Laura Lee-Rogers, Phoebe Wood, Rosh, Meredith Willis and Jessica Salkind.

I am also delighted to announce that a number of girls who travelled to Lusaka in 2007 returned in 2008 to run an innovative summer school over the August break.
