Last week saw the annual Year 9 trip to Edale in the Peak District for Adventure Week.

This trip is designed to continue establishing strong relationships across the year group and with the girls' tutors and Heads of Year. It also allows for improved confidence in the girls, opportunities to take the lead and support their peers, as well as helping them learn how to deal with situations outside of their comfort zones.

The weather did not look promising, however only a few showers graced the week and an immensely enjoyable time was had by all. Abseiling, rock climbing, orienteering, a beautiful night time walk and raft building were just a few of the activities covered.
