Three North Londoners, Anna Pugh, Beth Denham and Georgina Prichard have all been training on the National Centex Programme.
This is the centre of excellence that feeds players to become part of the England Lacrosse Team. In the past two years, all three girls have been asked to represent England in various U19 tournaments.
Most recently Anna Pugh has been named as one of the final 60 squad. Over the next few months members of the squad will take part in an intensive training programme and of these sixty girls, the final England squad will be chosen to play in the U19 Lacrosse World Cup in Germany 2011.
