Having treated the entire First and Lower School to a stunning dress rehearsal performance of Pocahontas, the Year 6 girls raised their game still further for their evening performance. They hoisted the sail of their wonderful ship, hauled men out of the ‘sea', dug for gold and transported their audience to the shores of Virginia, in 1607.

And they didn't just sing. They acted convincingly, whether they were crew or native Americans and they danced like a dream. The Wind Spirits added an air of enchantment to the proceedings as they rose and fell like ripples of water and gentle breezes.
The combination of Mrs Justine Skinner's thrilling direction and Mr John Haythornthwaite's musical inspiration really brought magic to the production.
