On 5th May, over forty clarinettists spanning from Yrs 3 - 13, in the form of soloists and various ensembles, treated the audience to a varied programme of music including Mozart, Jungle Book and West Side Story!
This was a fantastic opportunity for junior school girls to perform their first solos in a relaxed atmosphere. Particularly notable performances came from the Junior Clarinet Ensemble, whose performance at this concert was only their second since forming in September, the Senior Woodwind and Clarinet Quartets, who participated in a Pro Corda competition earlier this year, and the Middle and Senior School Ensembles who combined to play a finale of the "Ashokan Farewell".
It was also an opportunity to say farewell to three clarinettists (Maisie Tillisch, Stephanie Lipman and Mallory Combemale) who will be leaving North London at the end of the school year. Special thanks go to Mrs Gomm for organising the concert and making it such an enjoyable evening for all!
