On Friday 24th June 2011 Yr 8 students celebrated Brazil Day. Throughout the day girls had the opportunity of attending four workshops. These included one on the native dance of capoeira, a carnival drumming session, a drama and language lesson and a samba class.
As well as having lots of fun the girls learnt much from the sessions and gained a deeper understanding of the unique culture of Brazil.
