If you go down to Reception today, you're sure of a big surprise!
For every girl that ever there was, will gather there for surely because
Today's the day Reception have had a picnic!
Pirate bears and jungle bears,
The little teddy bears are having a lovely time today.

Watch them, catch them unawares,
And see them picnic before their holiday.
See them eat and dance about.
They love to play and shout.
And never have any cares.
At ten past three their mommies and daddies
Will take them home to bed
Because they're tired little Reception girls.
