Congratulations to the Junior School Chamber Choir who were awarded first prize in the Primary Choir category of the North London Music Festival.
The girls performed Flying Free and Solfege Samba, impressing the adjudicators and audience with their beautiful tone, excellent diction and secure part singing. Brenda Foster the adjudicator said, "The Choral sound was warm and even and the two part singing beautifully balanced. An impressive performance - thank you!", Emily Godwin added to the occasion by playing a wonderful flute obligato whilst Mr Lawrence accompanied on the piano with his usual virtuosic flare. This was a marvellous event and a huge confidence boost for this outstanding group of young singers.
