The First and Lower Schools were a mass of colour and creation on a drab Saturday afternoon. Every one of the classes just burst with excitement as girls impressed their parents, grandparents and friends with their wonderful work. There were pink trains, blue birds, robots and teddy bears to be much admired in the First School. The Lower School sported stunning artwork, marvellous models and literary and mathematical offerings of an exceptionally high standard. There were even some life size models checking up on our behaviour as we walked passed the Art Room.
The event was enhanced, this year, by a delightfully entertaining and informative History of North London in Sixteen Objects Trail - our very own take on the current British Museum Exhibition. Families even missed the rugby to complete the trail, which took them into every room in the Junior School.
The girls entertained everyone in a wide variety of languages. They danced, sang and performed gymnastic contortions to the delight of the audience.
And then they all had a delicious tea.
