5W Student on Channel Four TV
On Saturday 14th January at 7.40pm, Channel Four broadcast an episode of the programme 4thought.tv featuring Matilda Sidel (5W). During an interview at a Central London studio in early December, Matilda fielded a range of questions about child poverty. Like other children interviewed for the same series, she expressed concern that growing up poor means never having a fair chance in life. "They asked all sorts of questions, including some unexpected ones about electrical appliances," Matilda reported.
