Year 4's pioneering visit to Cornbury Park was a huge success and enjoyed by everyone, both staff and girls. Through taking part in activities such as open fire cookery, shelter building, natural sculpture making and marshmallow toasting, the girls certainly developed their Bushcraft skills; Bear Grylls and Ray Mears be warned! The pancake fight caused much hilarity and the open air swimming was certainly refreshing! We were all (teachers included) extremely brave, successfully coping with mud, the odd spider and lack of electricity for a whole night. The guidance of the Bushcraft staff ensured that we were well cared for and that we experienced the camping equivalent of Michelin star dining! A wonderful and unforgettable time was had by all!
