On Friday 11th November 2011, 5W had an absorbing and informative trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum. The girls had the opportunity to examine the artefact, Tipu's Tiger, before exploring its tale through drama and games. In small groups they were then asked to select an artefact from the museum's collection of silverware and to create a series of tableaux telling an original story based around their chosen object. Fantastic and entertaining tales of giants, mermaids, kings and shipwrecks were produced. After lunch there was an interesting guided tour of the Islamic Gallery before the class headed back to school on the tube.
