The Department considers Art to be a subject which requires intellectual engagement as well as technical skills. Projects at senior level therefore tend to be student led rather than didactic and, supported by an in-house tutorial system, the students are encouraged to produce work which is individual and which reflects a rigour only possible through personal pursuit.
