Open Day and visits to the school

Open Day 2012
Our annual Open Day takes place this year on Saturday 22nd September.
The Junior School will be open from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and the Senior School will be open from 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Visitors will be able to have tours of the school, see our splendid facilities and hear from the Headmistress and the Head of Junior School about the curriculum, extracurricular activities and life at North London.
No appointment is necessary to attend Open Day.
Taster Afternoons (11+ Entry for September 2013)
We suggest that all girls considering applying for a place at 11+ for September 2013 attend one of our Taster Afternoons. This gives girls the opportunity to try out life at North London for the afternoon and participate in activities in subjects such as Drama, History, Science and Mathematics.
A number of Taster Afternoons will be offered during the Summer Term, followed by further Taster Afternoons in the Autumn Term. Details of specific dates will be posted in due course.

Sixth Form Open Afternoon / Course Consultation Evening (16+ Entry for September 2013)
A special Open Afternoon for admission to the Sixth Form will be held during the Autumn Term, giving prospective 16+ candidates the opportunity to tour the school and hear from senior staff. The Open Afternoon will be held in October 2012, and the specific date will be confirmed in due course.
The Open Afternoon will be followed directly by a Course Consultation Evening in which prospective sixth formers will have the opportunity to find our more about the International Baccalaureate Diploma courses and A-level courses in each subject.

School in Action Mornings (4+ and 7+ Entry)
We strongly encourage parents of girls considering applying for a place at 4+ or 7+ to bring their daughters to one of our School in Action Mornings, giving them the opportunity to look around the Junior School whilst lessons are in progress. Upon arrival, refreshments will be served in the Junior School Hall, followed by a talk from the Head of the Junior School giving information about the admissions process. Junior School girls will act as tour guides, showing parents around the classrooms and the school facilities.
A number of School in Action Mornings will be offered during the Summer Term, followed by further School in Action Mornings in the Autumn Term. Details of specific dates will be posted in due course.
