Yr 4 St Albans Abbey visit

Yr 4 recently went on a trip to St Albans Abbey to learn about Tudor
music, dance and the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

The girls learnt dances such as the Snail, the Clog and the Washer Woman.They played arange of musical instruments including a crumborn, tabor, recorder and
cornet. Dressing up and learning about the Dissolution of the
Monasteries was a popular activity, as the girls learnt about the role of
the Abbot and monks and how King Henry VIII had the monasteries closed.
