Lower School National Gallery visit

This term, Reception visited the National Gallery. It was their first trip on a coach into London! They looked at paintings that told a story and had fun in the shop buying postcards of the pictures that they had studied.

Back in the classroom, they looked at Botticelli’s painting, Primavera. As it depicts the coming of spring, we created our own spring goddess collages in the style of Botticelli.
